What Shape Is Water?

Over the past few weeks we are trying to get into a school routine. So far the favorite subject is science - all the experiments they get to do!!

We are learning about water. They were asked to draw a shape on the road (no it isn't a busy road) that would predict what shape the water would take:

Then they had to pour the water out onto their shape.

Maddie's predictions and results

Alex's seemed to be a little more on track.

Overall the home schooling is going better than I thought (me and my lack of patience sometimes). I am enjoying all the time we are spending together!

Can you send us some warm weather please?? It looks so nice.... I am glad school is going good.

Lots of hugs being sent to you...

Maddie and Alex...I will be sending you a special package by the end of the week...so watch for it.

Love you bunches.

Very crafty, Lia. You should email Anna and see what ideas she has....the science teacher in her. I remember the triplets watching colored ice melt and seeing the colors change as they melted into each other....and they were 1 or so. :) Sounds like you're doing a great job! Good for you!

Wow, wouldn't Mrs. Hulst be proud! I must say that I am very proud and impressed by your teaching skills and your patience! Looks like that kids are enjoying it and sounds like you are too. It was good to talk to you today and to hear that Maddie is reading so well. Keep up the good work! Love Mom D
