It has been raining so much since we have been back. ALL DAY LONG! Maddie and Alex have been feeling cooped up (me too). Today I suggested they get their bathing suits on and play in the rain. Maddie now wishes she lived in the rain.
Guess what this is?
Yup - our yard after our gardner mowed it. The lines from the lawn mower and then his footprints in between. Not sure why he mowed when it was so wet!
So the tip for the day - Play in the rain and leave your footprints where ever you go!

Must suck having to deal with warm weather and rain. I mean we've gotten the nice 10 degree(F) days with over a foot of snow for the last week:) Do they have slip and slides you could set up over there? That would be sweet to set up with that much rain.

Hey Lia, Think that this is why one of the seasons is called rainy season. Glad you could find ways to enjoy the rain! I've Brian's 3 boys most of the week and we are going to enjoy all the snow and build the biggest snowman. Hard for us to imagine you guys sitting playing games in shorts, when we are wearing double and triple layers here! Have a great day! Barb
How cute (the kids playing in the rain, not your yard!) Looks like they are making the best of all the rain. Does SA always get that much rain in the summer? I always thought it was more in the spring or fall.
Anyway, thanks for the great pics of Maddie too, showing off her beautiful smile! I love it!

Hi Lia. Chris and I meet a man at our homegroup that is from SA. Chris told him a little about what Scott is doing. He has a friend that is a wealthy land developer from the area around Johannesburg. He thinks that his friend might be interested in what you guys are doing, and would like to get some info to him. Does this sound like anything that would interest Scott.
